Before changing devices or deleting the app
Export a current archive.
Open Studio → Export archive and save a current copy somewhere you control. Archives containing photographs can be large.

Pieced & Kept stores it locally inside the app's private storage on your device. It is not uploaded to an Everfixed Studios account or server.
How do I protect or move my work?
Open Studio and choose Export archive. Save the Pieced & Kept file somewhere you control, such as Files or iCloud Drive. On another device, choose Restore from a file. Restoring replaces the archive already on that device, so export that archive first if it matters.
Why does the one-inch square matter?
Print the label PDF at 100% or Actual Size, then measure the calibration square. If it is not exactly one inch, turn off Fit to Page or other automatic scaling before printing on fabric material.
Can Everfixed Studios recover a deleted archive?
No. We do not hold a server copy. Recovery requires a backup file you exported before the loss. Pieced & Kept can recover from an interrupted local save, but it cannot recreate deliberately deleted records or data removed with the app.
What is planned to be free, and what does Founding Edition add?
The planned free app includes up to three quilts, the Heritage label, PDF export, and complete archive export and restore. The proposed $19.99 Founding Edition is an optional one-time unlock for unlimited quilts and albums plus the expanded label, keepsake, collection, and reporting tools. Pieced & Kept is still in development, so these details may change before release.
A local archive needs another copy
Export before deleting, restoring, or changing devices.
Everfixed Studios does not hold a server copy of your archive. Keep a current exported backup somewhere separate from the device, and inspect important printed output before using it. Read the product terms and data-safety notice.
