1. Agreement and store terms
These product terms apply to LeanPaste, software published by Everfixed Studios LLC. If you acquire LeanPaste through the Microsoft Store, the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms and Microsoft Store usage rules also apply. These terms address LeanPaste-specific operation and risk. Store terms and rights that cannot legally be waived remain in effect.
2. Limited license
LeanPaste is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms and the applicable store rules, Everfixed Studios grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to install and use LeanPaste on devices associated with your lawful store entitlement. Everfixed Studios retains all rights not expressly granted.
3. No sharing, resale, or circumvention
You may not copy, publish, upload, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or make LeanPaste or any extracted program file available to another person. You may not bypass or defeat store licensing, trial, security, signing, or update controls. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except only to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
4. What LeanPaste changes
LeanPaste processes a copy of image content placed on the Windows clipboard. It does not overwrite the original source photograph or image file. When its safety rules and savings threshold are met, it may replace the clipboard image with an optimized version. That version may not be bit-for-bit identical to the source and may differ in encoding, stored detail, color appearance, or compatibility in a destination application.
5. Protect important images
Keep the original source file in a safe location. Clipboard contents and LeanPaste's temporary Restore function are not backups and may be replaced when you copy something else, restore the image, or exit the app. Inspect important pasted output before deleting an original, sending a final document, publishing, printing, submitting evidence, or creating an archive. You are responsible for deciding whether the result is suitable for its intended use.
6. Uses LeanPaste is not designed for
LeanPaste is a convenience utility, not an archival-preservation, forensic, medical, emergency, legal-evidence, engineering-control, or safety-critical system. Do not use it where a changed, degraded, delayed, unavailable, or incompatible image could reasonably cause personal injury, loss of legal rights, loss of irreplaceable records, or other serious harm.
7. Results and compatibility
Compression savings, visual results, and compatibility vary by image, Windows version, settings, clipboard format, source application, and destination application. LeanPaste may leave an image unchanged. No particular size reduction, visual quality, compatibility result, or uninterrupted operation is guaranteed.
8. Privacy
LeanPaste is designed to process clipboard images locally and does not require an Everfixed account or image-upload service. Its current data-handling details are stated in the LeanPaste privacy policy.
9. Updates, support, and availability
Everfixed Studios may provide updates that correct defects, preserve compatibility, improve security, or change features. Support and compatibility cannot be guaranteed indefinitely for every Windows or third-party application version. Microsoft controls Store delivery, account entitlements, installation, updates, billing, trials, and Store refund processes.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LeanPaste is provided as is, as available, and with all faults. Everfixed Studios disclaims implied warranties and conditions, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and noninfringement. This section does not limit any warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Everfixed Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss or corruption of data; lost profits, revenue, business, opportunity, or goodwill; or the cost of substitute products or services arising from LeanPaste. Where a monetary limit is legally permitted and the applicable store license does not require a different limit, Everfixed Studios' total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for LeanPaste. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Termination
Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these terms. When it ends, you must stop using LeanPaste and remove any copies in your possession or control. Sections concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination where legally permitted.
13. Governing law and general terms
These terms are governed by Minnesota law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you nonwaivable rights or requires another law or forum. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Everfixed Studios may revise these terms for future versions; changes do not retroactively remove rights already granted by law.
