Note your LeanPaste version, Windows version, source application, destination application, and what you expected. Do not email a private screenshot unless support specifically asks for a sanitized example.
Review privacy detailsWhy did LeanPaste leave an image unchanged?
That can be the correct result. LeanPaste skips small images, images with meaningful transparency, and images that would not meet the minimum-savings threshold. It also leaves the clipboard unchanged if processing cannot complete safely.
How do I restore the original image?
Choose Restore original from the LeanPaste control center or use the visible result notification when available. Restore applies only to the most recent original held during the current session.
Can I pause processing?
Yes. Pause LeanPaste until you resume it, or use the 15-minute and one-hour pause options. You can also exclude specific source applications or exit LeanPaste completely.
Does LeanPaste keep running after I close its window?
LeanPaste is designed as a notification-area utility. Closing the control center can leave the utility available in the Windows notification area. Choose Exit when you want to stop it completely.
Can LeanPaste start when I sign in?
The packaged release includes an optional Windows-managed startup setting. It is user-controlled and remains visible in Windows Startup apps.
Which applications are supported?
The current measured release evidence includes Microsoft Word 2019 and PowerPoint 2019. Compatibility varies by application and clipboard behavior. The final Store package will publish only the compatibility claims verified for that exact release.
Protect the original
LeanPaste changes the clipboard copy, not the source file.
Keep original images and inspect important pasted results before deleting, submitting, publishing, printing, or archiving them. Clipboard contents and the temporary Restore function are not a backup. Read the product terms and safety notice.
